Lamar Odom (NBAE/Getty)
Lakers forward Lamar Odom was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round (fourth overall) of the 1999 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons at the Clippers, and later being traded to Miami Heat and Long Angeles Lakers. During his rookie season, Odom is averaging 16.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He ranked #6 in the NBA in defensive rebounds per game.

Odem participated in the 2001 Schick Rookie Challenge during the 2001 All-Star Weekend. He also scored a career-high 34 points at New Jersey on 2/18/01. Odem was named to the 1999-2000 Schick All-Rookie First Team and named co-winner of the Schick Rookie of the Month award for November 1999 (along with Adrian Griffin), averaging 18.6 ppg and 7.8 rpg.
