Stat Of The Game

Turning Point

The Knicks were up by eight, 52-44, early in the third quarter when Carmelo Anthony and Toney Douglas kicked off an 11-2 run that put the game out of reach. After a TD driving lay-up, Melo bullied his way to the basket for the hoop and harm, which was followed by another Douglas lay-up and Landry Fields three-pointer.

Quote Of The Game

“They [the fans] were chanting. That’s why I came back here. It is the greatest city on earth, the greatest fans on earth and I wanted to be a part of this. I went through four years here and I really wanted to come back here to feel this atmosphere and to be a part of this…just excitement. I felt like when I left here, I was playing good basketball and I wanted to come back here and begin where I left off. I feel like I have a chance to do that."- Jared Jeffries
