HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets waived G/F Dion Glover General Manager Carroll Dawson announced today.  Glover underwent surgery on 11/15 to repair a bony defect in his right knee and did not play in any games this season. 

 Glover has accumulated six seasons of NBA experience while playing with Atlanta, Toronto and San Antonio.  The former Georgia Tech standout has career averages of 8.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 294 NBA games.  Glover was signed by the Rockets on 10/3 after helping the team’s 2005 Minnesota Summer League entry to a 5-0 record while averaging 18.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists.
